Export Applications and Questionnaire Results
There is currently no way to export a group of applicants or results from questionnaires. There should be some way of doing that so the results can be analyzed easier.

Questionaire After the Fact
Allow the Questionnaire to be filled out after the applicant is created. Many times, my recruiters will start a file and the applicant will need to fill out the questionnaire later.

api
I'd like to see an api even if you had a pay a little to access it to allow me to get information about my each opening t display in my own site than link directly to the application page.

more personal information fields
Add ability to have additional personal information fields for applicants. These ideally would be user-definable. For example, I'd like to have a field for "state" that shows which state the person lives in (eg. California). This would allow me to later on easily find all applicants that live in a given state.
(I suppose I could instead include a questionnaire question for that, but then how would I search "cleanly" -- without inadverdantly picking up other location names that might occur on applicants resumes, eg. where they attended school 7 years ago)

Secure each job or an office's jobs by user
You should be able to assign access to each job posting (and the applications that are received for that opening) or to job postings by a particular office to an individual user. My DC office should not have access to applications for my CT or NY positions and vice versa.
15 votesWe are planning to add customizable user roles to the system. This will include securing a jobs and its applications from some users and allowing access to others. We will be rolling out this feature in a few months.

Website Integration should be easier
The whole system is very easy-to-use and simple. However, when I'm done creating my job requisitions, I want to be able to integrate with my website quickly and easily. After all, isn't simplicity the whole point?

add a mergefield (e.g. first name) into an email template
It would be very handy to be able to insert a mergefield such as first name into a bulk email template. For instance to personalise an interview message or a rejection letter,

Choose job boards for auto posting
When a job is added to the job board, I should be able to choose which public or paid job boards (indeed.com, HotJobs, CareerBuilder, etc) that it auto posts to thereby eliminating double or triple-keying.

Custom HTML Job Board
Some of your users, like myself, know HTML, others know or could find someone who knows HTML to do this for them. But I would like the option to customize the job board with my own HTML to create seamless intergration with my website. There could be tage ie %%FOOTER%% would show the footer, and to prevent people from using it to get rid of the powered by simplicant logo make the logo part of the footer tag and add the footer tag if the user doesn't authomatically before </body> It would be awesome to get better intergration.

Ability to Add Section for Reference Checks
When checking references, allow us the ability to associate a contact to an applicant...that way, when the reference calls us back, we can search for them and complete the reference check.

Sources
It would be a nice feature to be able to get unique URLs for each job posting to post on sites like LinkedIn, Monster, etc. so you could better track where your applications are coming from.
If I post the application link to LinkedIn, the source just shows up as company job board.

Excerpts for Job Postings
Each job posting should have an excerpt. Content in this form should be toggle-able from the widget, job board, and for each singular job. This will allow admins to trim job descriptions on landing pages while still maintaining their full length versions.

Ability to have remote/virtual/telecommute positions
My entire company is remote, so our jobs don't have a location. Candidates just have to be located in the U.S. It doesn't seem like it's possible to indicate this right now though with Simplicant. Is this something that can be added soon? Thanks!

save a default settings for filters in applicants tab
I always head to the applicants tab and then once I'm there, I see a whole bunch of new resumes, dive in to start reading resumes, and then realize that half of them are for another manager's job posting.
I would like to be able to save a default set of filters on the applicants screen so whenever I open it up it remembers that I want to see applicants for only one or two particular jobs- not all of them

Please wrap questionnaire answers in a <pre> tag.
We use one of the questionnaire questions as a place to submit a coverletter. Currently this is just HTML escaped, and so any formatting the user entered is lost, unless I view the page source.

sort messages with most recent at the top
I see I have a message from a particular applicant, so I click on the applicant name, click over to the messages tab, then have to scroll down through 10+ messages to see the latest.
I would rather just see the most recent message at the top of the message list
